Technopolis GS sets up production of Rezonver welding equipment03.10.2014
The facilities of innovation territorial cluster Technopolis GS, developed by the GS Group holding company in the town of Gusev, Kaliningrad region, will host production of multi-function welding equipment of the Russian development contractor Rezonver. The agreement between the companies was signed in October 2014.
Russian startup company Rezonver attracted investments worth $3 million USD to organize production at the Prancor plant, a part of Technopolis GS. Prancor will manufacture Rezonver key product which is multi-function equipment for metal cutting and welding, based on patented method of resonant power conversion. This method allows producing compact and powerful welding machines that can operate in conditions of power surges and short circuits. Equipment should be competitive on the global market and turn into import-substituting product for the Russian specialized enterprises, primarily, replacing the prevailing Chinese and American models.
A test batch of Rezonver welding machines will hit the Russian market in November 2014. It is planned to produce up to 50,000 units during 2015, which will exceed the amount of analogues manufactured by the majority of European companies.

Prancor plant, which will house production of the Rezonver multi-function welding equipment, is a modern platform for organization of contract manufacture in the Kaliningrad region. The plant employs the up-to-date equipment for such projects at various stages. Thus, the plant comprises process sections of cold forming, injection molding machines with a clamping force of up to 200 tons and painting of plastic and metal products.
