Public company NPO “DTVS”, a plant within Technopolis GS innovation cluster, won the first prize at the regional competition “Russian organization of high social efficiency”, which was held in the city of Kaliningrad.
The factory became the winner in the nomination “For the reduction of occupational accidents and occupational diseases in the production sector organizations”. In late December, the winners will be awarded in the government of the Kaliningrad region. GS Nanotech, also an enterprise of Technopolis GS, was nominated in the same category and took the fourth place.
“Digital Television Systems” takes a number of preventive steps to reduce injuries and disease incidence of employees. Safety engineer regularly instructs workers on the set of rules and precautions. Workbench setup meets the requirements of the Russian legislation on labor protection, routings regulate working conditions. The lighting and climate control is performed. Workplace assessment is annually held. Due to all the efforts made, accident rate has been reduced to zero in the past two years. Also on there is a medical center at the factory that performs seasonal vaccination of the staff and preventive healthcare.

The all-Russian contest “Russian organization of high social efficiency” was established in 2000. Its main aim is to identify companies and enterprises of the country that seek high social efficiency in their work, to explore and extend their experience to contribute to the development of social partnership organizations.
