Night of Museum was held in Gusev from 23 to 24 May, its theme line being the exhibition “Timespan”. Town dwellers and guests of Gusev could plunge into the times King William I, shoot bows and crossbows, see what life of the first immigrants from Salzburg was like, and even have a glimpse of the inquisition torture instruments. GS Group has become a sponsor of one of the most spectacular events during the Night of Museums, the Knight tournament, organized by “Ancient Warrior” historical reconstruction club members (Lithuania). Also the holding offered informational support for the Night of Museums, providing posters, leaflets, souvenirs, and maps to navigate visitors through many events and sites. Employees of Technopolis GS and their families were also glad to take part in the Night of Museums, which has become an annual cultural tradition for many of them.
On Saturday, May 24, Gusev marked 290 years since its foundation by the Day of the city festivities. A series of events was supported by GS Group. The friendly and energetic volunteers holding congratulated citizens on the occasion on behalf of GS Group holding, handing to them branded souvenirs and sweets. Everyone, especially children, had fun popping into the tent of Technopolis GS, crammed with balloons! About fifty guys in T-shirts with Technopolis GS logo impressed the spectators with a cheerful flash mob dance. The performance symbolically depicted the future of the city, which already now has become a center of high technology and innovative ideas as the complex of modern innovative industries of Technopolis GS cluster is located in Gusev. GS Group holding not only develops innovation in technology but also in the field of culture, sport and city life. Supporting such holidays as the City Day helps make life of innovation cluster employees, as well as of all the people living in Gusev more thrilling and eventful.
